Today, February 5, during the regular bi-weekly Dream Funding project “No More Pandemics” call, the KNCV KG team connected with the KNCV PLUS HQ team to review implementation progress and tackle key challenges.

The KNCV PLUS Diagnostics Team Leader – Kristin Kremer shared global updates on genome sequencing and the latest developments from Tanzania and Vietnam.⠀
Our PhD students are driving innovation:
Aizat Kulzhabaeva provided insights from her visit to the KNCV PLUS home office in the Netherlands, where she learned about the new Stata SE18 software for data analysis. Altyn Iskakova updated on progress at the National Reference Laboratory and raised concerns about delays in customs clearance of laboratory reagents (polymerase), despite ongoing efforts from both the lab and the KNCV KG team.⠀
Andrei Slyzkyi committed to coordinating with the customs broker to push for resolution from the HQ side.⠀
Muratbek Ahmatov and Bakyt Myrzaliev provided a general update on activities of other partners and donors in the country.⠀
